“Let Me Tell You the Story of How I Discovered the Insider Secrets of the Torah and My Amazing Talent, Too!”

About 16 years ago I made the best decision I ever made in my life when I began to explore my Jewish heritage from the inside. I have always been a seeker of truth. I always felt that there is a spiritual solution to every problem – if only I knew how to find it!

“I knew there was something important I was meant to do, but I couldn’t figure out what it was.”

I was very depressed, underemployed and deeply in debt. I felt stuck and very stifled. I knew I had a lot of talent, but I couldn’t figure out how to use it to enrich my life and the lives of others. I just kept spinning my wheels, feeling lost and alone. Then, one day, I was reading notices on a bulletin board at the university. A flyer with Hebrew writing on it caught my eye. “Oh, I used to know how to read Hebrew,” I thought, but when I tried, I found that I had forgotten how. Tears started rolling down my cheeks as I realized that I had lost something very precious.

I yearned to grow spiritually and feel connected to my faith, but I felt so far away from G-d!

Just at that time, I finished my first course in calligraphy at the university and I asked my professor if I could do an independent study in Hebrew calligraphy. He agreed and I began to read every book I could find in the university library on the Hebrew alphabet. I studied deep kabbalistic texts, and copied prayers and blessings from the prayer book. I began to uncover an amazingly profound Judaism I had never known before.

I wanted a connection, a personal dialogue with G-D.

Then I discovered Jewish spirituality through a special form of Judaism – Kabbalah wisdom called Hasidism. I learned from the texts of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov how to walk through the magnificent redwood forests and do a profound Jewish meditation practice of talking to G-d. I studied the extraordinary teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson and decided to try to live according to Jewish law and Torah wisdom. I began to keep Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath, and to eat only kosher food.

I was amazed at the awesomeness of Torah –
and WOW, did my life change!

As I began to learn about the amazing and profound inner wisdom of Torah Judaism and how to connect to G-d, my life began to change in astounding ways. I was able to emerge from my deep depression and found a passion for life. My spiritual search led me to discover my unique purpose and talents.

From the very beginning of my Torah learning I discovered my talent as Jewish artist. I realized that what I was learning was so profound, I wanted to be sure to review my notes over and over again and to someday share this inspirational information with others. I began to write my notes in calligraphy. I had classical training and was already a professional calligrapher, and I began to “doodle”.

Breakthrough miracles started happening in my life.

I began to see miracles in my life every day. I found the job of my dreams, was flown down for an interview and hired on the spot. I moved to Los Angeles and began to study every day with many amazing masters of Torah. I made extraordinary new friends, found my soulmate, and married at age 49. Statistics say that it would be easier for a woman over 40 to be struck by lightning, G-d forbid, than get married! But thank G-d, Torah wisdom teaches us how to live above statistics.
